Data kept on your device

Rope Rounds stores timer settings, workout plans, completed sessions, Jumpstart progress, difficulty responses, and app preferences locally on your device. There is no Rope Rounds account or cloud sync.

You can delete workout data in Settings, then Data and Privacy. Removing the app may also remove its local data. Because there is no account or cloud backup, we cannot recover deleted workout data.

Purchases

RevenueCat and the Apple App Store process the one-time Rope Rounds Pro purchase and restoration. They may process purchase, product, device, and store-account information needed to provide the entitlement. Rope Rounds does not receive your full payment-card details.

Crash diagnostics

Release builds may use Sentry for technical crash diagnostics. When enabled, Sentry may receive diagnostic information such as the app version, device and operating-system details, error traces, and network information needed to deliver the service.

Rope Rounds does not send workout interval values, session history, Jumpstart difficulty responses, or health data to Sentry.

Analytics and advertising

The 1.1 release does not include PostHog, advertising SDKs, advertising attribution, or cross-app tracking. Rope Rounds does not sell personal data.

Store reviews

After an eligible completed workout, Rope Rounds may ask the App Store to show its native rating and review prompt. The store controls whether the prompt appears and handles any rating or review you choose to submit. Rope Rounds stores only the app version and time of its latest request and a count of eligible foreground completions on your device so it does not ask again in the same version or before the eligibility threshold.

Workout reminders

In version 1.1 and later, after a completed workout you may choose to schedule one notification for the next day. The notification is non-repeating and is scheduled locally by your device. Rope Rounds stores its notification identifier and scheduled date locally so you can view or cancel it in Settings. Rope Rounds does not create a push token or send reminder details to a server.

Permissions

Rope Rounds does not request access to health data, camera, microphone, contacts, location, or tracking. Version 1.1 and later requests notification permission only after you choose to schedule a next-day workout reminder. Audio, haptics, screen wake-lock behavior, and device orientation are used to run the timer.

Children

Rope Rounds is a general fitness timer and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information through an account or profile.

Changes

If the app's data handling changes, this policy and the store privacy declarations will be updated before the changed behavior is released.
