Support
Email us. There's no portal, no ticket number, and nothing to sign in to.
Write to us and you'll usually hear back within a few working days.
What to include
- Your iPhone model and iOS version
- The Rope Rounds version and build number
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- Whether the workout was running at the time
Finding your version number
Open Rope Rounds, go to Settings, then Help and About. The version and build are at the bottom of that screen. Sending them saves us both an email.
Common questions
I can't hear the cues.
Check the ring and silent switch on the side of the phone first. Then Settings, Cues and Feedback, and make sure phase tones are on. They're mixed under your music on purpose, so they're quieter than you might expect.
The cues stopped my music.
That's a bug, not a setting. Send us your iPhone model, your iOS version, and what was playing.
The screen went to sleep during a workout.
It shouldn't. Staying awake is automatic for the whole workout and there's no setting to get wrong. If it slept anyway, tell us which screen was up and whether the workout was paused.
The app closed and I lost a workout.
Reopen it. An interrupted workout gets offered back to you on the Train screen. And because the time comes from the clock rather than a running counter, a recovered session keeps its real elapsed time.
I bought Pro but it's not unlocked on this phone.
Settings, then Rope Rounds Pro, then Restore purchase, signed in to the Apple Account you bought with. Pro never expires, so a restore is all it takes.
How do I delete my workout data?
Settings, then Data and Privacy. One warning before you tap it: there's no account and no cloud backup, so once it's gone neither of us can get it back.
I want a refund.
Apple handles the money, so refunds go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple Account you bought with. Email us as well if the app did something wrong. We'd rather fix it.
Will there be an Android version, or a Watch app?
Not this release. It's iPhone first, with no Watch app and no automatic jump counting.
